Rants -n- Raves -n- Odds -n- Ends

WHEN I DO GOOD, I FEEL GOOD; WHEN I DO BAD, I FEEL BAD. THAT'S MY RELIGION.
- Abraham Lincoln, 16th president of the U.S. (1809-1865)

Having Fun!

I am finishing a trip to Denver for a conference that I attend yearly. Fortunately, I did not encounter any of these signs or ones like it.

It was been a great trip visiting grade school friends, learning lots of new  information and visiting a select few sites.

7. Hotwheels and Matchbox car companies are now trading higher than GM in the stock market.

And my most favorite indicator of all.
1. If the bank returns your check marked as "insufficient funds," you have to call them and ask if they meant you or them.

A word of caution...

When you are seeking sponsor's for your various sports teams apparel, it is imperative that you secure the services of a good translator. Otherwise, you may end up wearing uniforms such as these....

Ouch!

Cats do the craziest things...

Since cats have their own minds and do what they please, this picture is either a tremendous chance happening, or tuna was involved.

In either case, I found it humorous. The photo came from one of my favorite blogs by Dan Piraro, author of the cartoon Bizarro. It's good for a daily chuckle.

We can all use a little love now and again

Plus a good laugh!

They say history repeats itself. Recently we have seen that to be true with fashion. Some lazy or uninspired designers have recycled the 70's and 80's fashion eras. It wasn't good then, it most certainly hasn't been improved.

Notice the now stylish glasses in this photo. Yikes! Can the hair possibly be next?! Let's hope that doesn't happen, too!

I can't help myself

Looks like I'm on a political roll right now. I found this the other day and decided I needed to share it.

Take it to heart, and vote Democratic this November. No more of the same please.

And don't get me started on Sarah Palin. She is quickly becoming a joke which is comforting as that can only work in the Democrats favor.

A little political humor

Sometimes (regularly) this is how it feels to the average Joe. I fear for where our country is headed. It sure seems like the little guys (voters) are bearing the burden of the fat cats (5% of the population that owns 95% of the wealth). I hope that we will see some real change in the future.

In a way... I got my wish!

Someone out there seems to be thinking along the same lines as me. At least I'm hoping 51% or greater are thinking along the same lines as me.

Thanks for the updated version of an older political sign that I wished for a while back. To see it, click here. It's not quite what I was looking for, but it'll do.

A good sense of humor!

Halloween is just around the corner. Doesn't this give you some great ideas?

How fun is this!? Nicely done guys, whoever you are!

An appropriate response from neighbor to farmer

When I saw the above picture, it reminded me of the farmer who built the Redneck Stonehenge (second photo). This hedge seems like the appropriate response to the farmer from the neighbors. Click here for the original post

Photo of the Redneck Stonehenge which is shown as well.

 Funny!

Funny!

Need anything more be written? Except perhaps, that we need an updated version?
